Olive Tree Cottage has its own south facing patio for sunbathing and relaxing overlooking the garden towards the pool and the hills in the distance. Around the front of the house (which is alongside the canal) you can stroll along the towpath of the Canal du Midi and watch the boats navigate their way through the lock. The gîtes are in the grounds of very friendly British owners, who will respect your privacy.

Upstairs, the gîte offers a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. All towels and bedding are provided. There is a shower and washbasin (hairdryer provided). Downstairs there is everything you need for a relaxing holiday away from home. Open plan area downstairs includes a sitting room area with TV, Radio/CD player. Dining table and 6chairs. A kitchenette offering all facilities. A full sized 4 ring cooker with oven and grill and a large fridge with the benefit of a freezer above. All crockery, cutlery and tea towels are provided as well as a microwave/ dishwasher/ electric toaster & kettle (a cool-box is provided for excursions to help keep drinks cool). There is also a WC and seperate utility area providing a washing machine and sink with ample outside washing line for drying provided.

Canal View Cottage has the advantage of fabulous views overlooking the Canal du Midi and across the vineyards to the “Montagne Noir” in the distance. You can sit on the patio area watching the boats navigate their way up and down the lock on the canal and watch the French people go about their everyday life.

On the patio there are table and chairs for outside dining next to a spacious BBQ area. Sun loungers are provided.

The heated swimming pool (between May & October) offers 10m x 5 metres (approx. 33ft x 16ft) with Roman Steps for easy access and sitting on the steps with your feet in the water to keep cool. There is a 2 metre tiled surround & wooden decking with ample space for sunbathing. Sun loungers are provided. The pool is in a raised area of the garden offering fantastic views over towards the hills. Both gîtes share the pool which is set in approx 2 acres of garden. Private off road parking provided.

Also, there is a selection of bicycles that may be borrowed free of charge to help explore the local area.
